School for Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation working in rural Uganda. They empower communities to help themselves and create their own opportunities. This means they provide a hand-up not a hand-out.

They believe in the transformative impact of education and aim to provide a high-quality education to those who need it most, so they can develop themselves and change the communities where they live. Stopping the cycle of poverty through education. They build and operate schools that are aligned with the needs of the community.

Why School for Life:

We will be visiting the School for Life Schools in Uganda (privately funded) to see the schools and team that have educated 2,500 students. Local (Southern Highlands) Annabelle Chauncy co-founded School for Life at the young age of 21 after being exposed to the dire need for kids to be educated. She saw a way to break the cycle of poverty through education. Rather than hand outs, they are giving them a hand up to strive for a better life.

This year is their first year the kids will be graduating school so it will be a very special year to be there.

The Raffle commences on the 13th of May 2024, closes on the 19th of July 2024 and will be drawn on the 19th of July 2024. The draw will be conducted using a RaffleLink System draw process. Ticket buyers do not have to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted on the day of the draw. The Raffle is held to raise funds for School for Life Foundation and all funds (less costs of raffle) will be given directly to School for Life.
